after gardening, riley likes to do chalk art on the front steps. you can see that her clothes are suffering from her new hobbies.

gardening, part 2

spring is here!

riley has been very helpful with our gardening adventures. she has her own watering can and gardening tools. too.

big girl at the zoo

here is riley playing in the water at the zoo. she has no idea that she is the smallest child in the picture. in fact, she pushed the girl in the pink out of her way. later we had to change her outfit, and i felt bad that i didn't have a spare pair of shoes because hers were quite muddy!

new tricycle

with the warm weather, we decided to get riley a tricycle.

she was a little hesitant at first. dollie got a ride first . . .

it didn't take long before riley hopped on, though. tomorrow i'm getting her a helmet as she's already fallen off when she hit the wall.

zoo days

we had an unseasonably warm few days. matt's college buddy tim was visiting from california, and we brought him to the great providence zoo.

riley is in love w the giraffe. she spotted it before any of us saw it, and she was really unhappy that we made her stop looking at it to take a picture.

spring is in the air

we've been spending a lot of time at the park. riley is a little dare devil (emphasize "devil.") she would prefer to go down the slide head-first if we'd let her.

teething is hard work!

there are 6 new teeth that are trying to break through. we're worn out.

what's wrong w the dates?

some of my posts are coming up with the wrong dates. does anyone have any idea of why or how i can fix this? thanks

sign language

we finally got a picture of riley signing. here she is asking for "more" food. she ate almost her entire kid's meal: scrambled egg, home fries, toast and apple juice. she's a little piglet!

the official easter dress

we had family photos done. here is riley after the shoot, modeling her sweet easter dress, with an entire cookie in her mouth.

oh, she has a new tooth peeking through her bottom gum! teething again! argh--

merry-go-round

riley got to ride the merry-go-round while we waited for her easter pictures to be developed. she chose the race horse! maybe she has a future as a jockey?!?!
